Welcome

Devon & Somerset Microlight Club is a club for anyone with an interest in flying microlight aircraft. We are based at Dunkeswell Airfield, on the border of Devon and Somerset, 15 miles from Exeter - although several of our members fly from farm strips around the two counties and also in Dorset. We have some 30 members who fly both flex-wing and 3-axis types - including Jim Greenshields, Chief Flying Instructor of Somerset Microlights (www.somerset-microlights.com), who will be happy to assist if you're looking to gain your wings. Once you've got them, or if you're already an old hand, you are very welcome to come and spread them with us. The Club exists to promote safe flying and the opportunity for like-minded aviators to learn from each other, fly further, and enjoy the free airspace and countryside of the South West.
